Two families make up this line: Toke racks in real wood veneer with five or eight hooks folded into the front, and Sval wall wardrobes with ten steel hooks set in a geometric frame. They suit a hallway where coats belong on the wall instead of a floor stand. Elin is the one kitchen product: a 1.2-gallon countertop caddy with a removable inner bucket, an activated charcoal filter and a silicone seal. What sets Kazai. hooks and shelves apart
Hooks that sit flush until needed
On the Toke racks the hooks are integrated into the front panel, so an empty rack reads as a plain strip of walnut or oak. Nothing sticks out at head height when the hall is clear, which matters in a corridor people squeeze past.
Solid stainless steel under the powder coat
Holmsen, Tone and Sval are cut from solid stainless steel and powder-coated, with a finely textured surface on Holmsen. The Holmsen shelf reaches 4.5 inches deep on a body only 3.9 inches tall, enough for a wallet and keys beside a small plant.
Hooks and shelf in one wall mount
Most pieces combine two jobs: hooks underneath and an integrated top shelf above for keys, hats or décor. Tone lines up eight hooks under a slim shelf across 31.5 inches, which replaces separate wall hooks and a floating shelf with one piece and one set of holes.
Fixings kept out of view
The Holmsen key holders mount on two hidden attachment points, and metal caps cover the screw heads, so the front stays clean. On the 13-inch models an enclosed compartment under the hooks holds letters, cards and wallets out of sight.
Wood veneer, powder-coated steel and their care
Toke pieces are real wood veneer in oak, walnut, white or oak with black, finished matte. The coat racks are scratch-resistant and moisture-resistant. The key holders use FSC-certified veneer and top the shelf with a matte faux leather pad whose non-slip underside keeps it from sliding.
Tone, Holmsen and Sval are solid stainless steel with a powder coating, textured on Tone and finely textured on Holmsen; Sval is also scratch- and moisture-resistant. A soft cloth handles dust on wood and steel alike, and abrasive pads are worth keeping away from a matte or textured finish.
On the Elin bin, the body and the inner bucket are dishwasher-safe, so the parts that hold food scraps can go in with the plates. An activated charcoal filter and a silicone seal sit in the lid, and the inner bucket takes 2.6 or 3 gallon liners.
